The James Bond franchise has long been known for the diversity of its film locations and the new instalment, SPECTRE, will be no different.

Among the locations are Rome, Austria and London. No doubt the film’s production company, EON, will require numerous European breakdown cover polices this time round.

But while the film locations are incredibly diverse (also including Morocco and Mexico City), so is the range of vehicles set to be used in the film.

As usual, Aston Martin will be principle vehicle provider – this time with its DB10. But alongside the Warwickshire-built supercar we'll see the C-X75 from Jaguar. This pair will be involved in a car chase through the streets of Rome. One wonders if the Ferrari, Lamborghini and Maserati will be annoyed that they didn't get to feature in what could be an iconic chase scene on their own turf?

One also might wonder why Jaguar didn't push for its F-Type model to be placed in the film – since it might increase demand considerably.

But while two British sports firms showing off their wares next to 007 may be a turn up for the books, there's more. Range Rover Sport SVR and Defender Bigfoot will also appear in the film, no doubt giving a serious boost to these already-popular cars – both in the UK and around the world.

SPECTRE is set to be a who's-who of British car making – providing several more reasons to catch the film when it's released in November this year.
